Having a stall at the carnival is incredibly popular, as it attracts over 12,000 people, making it a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to showcase their products and turn a profit. To apply for a stall, simply fill out the form below.
Once you've completed the form, a member of our team will reach out to you to confirm your application, process payment, and ensure you have all the necessary documentation.
Before applying, please take a moment to review our clear guidelines on what is allowed and what is not permitted on the day of the event. It's crucial that you adhere to these guidelines, as any items not in compliance may result in your stall being unable to trade. Thank you for your cooperation!
We're excited to have you join us at the carnival 2024!
If you plan to serve food or drinks at the event, it's crucial to have a valid Food Hygiene certificate. Make sure to upload this as part of your application. Additionally, please ensure that you visibly demonstrate adherence to hygiene standards, such as providing handwashing facilities. Please be aware that local authorities may conduct inspections during the event to ensure compliance with regulations.
While not mandatory, we recommend using a Gazebo for both sun shade and rain cover. However, it's your responsibility to organize your own Gazebo, as the Carnival does not provide them. This is merely a suggestion and is entirely up to your preference.
For stalls requiring electrical power, only diesel generators are permitted. Petrol generators are strictly prohibited, and our team will promptly ask you to disconnect them if used, with no exceptions. Please note that the carnival does not supply generators to stallholders; you must make arrangements for hire or purchase independently.
Running trailing electrical cables along pavements or overhead is not permitted, even with safety ramps. Do not seek power supply arrangements from local shops/businesses/other premises on the high street. We strictly enforce this rule, and failure to comply will result in disconnection of power, potentially affecting your ability to trade.
When booking, it's essential to provide a copy of your Public Liability insurance. Please ensure this document is attached when you apply for a stall, as applications without it will be declined.
Stallholders are responsible for managing their own waste and rubbish. Failure to clean up properly after the event may result in charges for waste disposal.
Please note that we do not grant any stall exclusive rights to sell specific items. This decision is final, and no exceptions will be made.
Our volunteers work tirelessly, and they deserve to be treated with respect. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards abuse, so let's be kind to each other and make this event brilliant.
You will be allocated a pitch on the high street, and this allocation cannot be changed due to the planning involved. A member of our team will direct you to your pitch, and you're expected to stay within the provided space. Using more space than you've been allocated will incur extra charges or been asked to downsize your stall.
